I'm Back!
It's a new year, and so I want to get back to this blog that I enjoy so much.
WARNING: DISTURBING IMAGERY ALERT. This is an actual dream I had, and I feel weird about it, but I will post.
One of my former teachers was dying, and for some reason came to my family home to live out his last hours. It was clear to us all that he was fading, and very weak. He expired upstairs on one of the twin beds in the room at the top of the stairs which I shared with my sister, back in the day. He had voided his bowels, and no one came to retrieve his body. My sister had to sleep in my bed with me because the body, turning purple, was on her bed. It fell to me to call this man's wife to say he had died. But still no one came, and his body was beginning to turn (but, of course, not in the way it would in real death).

I'm so glad you're back in blogland, disturbing imagery or not! All I could think of on reading about this dream was "As I Lay Dying"....
p.s. Love the new, minimalist template, too.
